BLOCK 1 FINAL PROJECT
Music and Language
Choose on of these:
Foreign bands or singers that are popular in your country now or songs by singers or groups in your country which are written in English or songs written in another language which are popular.
Find out all you can about the singers and groups. Play the music and prepare a listening activity for your classmates ( bring copies for them) of maximum two paragraphs where they need to fill with missing words, then notice the language and the pronunciation.
Why are they popular? Imagine you have to write a review for Rolling Stones music magazine to explain this.
Your review must be done by computer, with excellent presentation, including a fully color photograph of either the group or the artist you chose.
If your work has more than 6 spelling or grammar mistakes, it will be checked but not received and graded until done without mistakes.
If you deliver the work again with mistakes, automatically you will hace ZERO in the project.

POEM ANALYSIS
Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Read the poem, analyze it and make a drawing of what you imagined!
