SHOPPING MALLS

You will work in teams of 4 and 5 people ASSIGNED BY ME. You will do the activity as explained in the portfolio. Visit a shopping mall make a list of 20 stores and put them in categories (clothes, music, pets, cell phones, etc). What other things are there, what makes the mall different from others,  what strategies are used to get people to visit the mall and consume.

You will prepare:

  • A printed and illustrated classification of the 20 stores, reswtaurants, etc.
  • An 10 slide PPT advertising the mall, stores, restaurants, extras, etc.
  • An 20 minute oral presentation with visual aids of the mall.

SHAW PROJECT - TEEN ISSUES AND CHALLENGES

For this project you will highlight 3 issues teens are faced with today.
They go from alcohol and drug abuse, to bullying, eating disorders, sex and teen pregnancy, just to name a few.
You will then give your opinion on possible solutions or ways to get through to teens.

You will  present:

  • A 125 word written report
  • A 10 slide PPT presentation
  • A 10 minute oral presentation using visual aids

The due date is February 1st, 2012
